I am so excited to talk about this makeup brush kit today. It is a 12 set brush kit by Petunia Skincare.

You can imagine how exstatic I was when I got the opportunity to try this out for free. I love anything makeup and I was actually in the market for a good set of brushes.

This particular set come with 12 tools. They include the following:

This set contains everything you need for most makeup routines. Not every makeup brush kit contains quality brushes as I have found out in the past. In order to achieve your look effortlessly a good makeup brush kit is a necessity.

I am very impressed with this kit. The brushes are very professional looking and made very well. The bristles are soft and range from synthetic to goat and pony hair. I really like the brushes made from natural hair. I have found these to be the most soft and durable.

I noticed very little shedding with these brushes. I would suggest washing the brushes with a good quality shampoo before using. I think this not only cleans the brushes and preps them but helps reduce the shedding you might see during their first use. 

This kit comes with a pamphlet that tells you what each of the brushes are and their uses. I'm not going to go into all the details here or this post would be super long. What I mainly want to focus on is whether or not this makeup brush kit is worth buying.

I am no makeup artists and to be honest up until I got this kit I didn't fully understand the need for so many different brushes. But they come in handy I assure you. I watch a lot of makeup tutorials on YouTube and they are always using these different brushes for various things and techniques.In order to achieve the look successfully you need good quality brushes and I believe that's what I've found here with this kit.

I especially love the smudge brush. Before I would just apply my eyeshadow with any old brush and the look was more harsh but after using this smudge brush, the look is more blended and natural.

This kit also comes with a fold up pouch which would be great for travel! It also comes with brush guards that help's the bristles maintain their shape.
