Isn't this tweezers set by Bella and Bear the cutest thing you've ever seen? As of right now these are by far the cutest set of tweezers I own. Not only that, they are the best quality tweezers I own.

 I really like the quality of these tweezers. They are made well and do not feel cheap. I also like the little protective case that the tweezers come in. It makes it perfect for traveling or to just stick in your purse for when you need it and not to mention, it's super cute!

I have tried other tweezers in the past that only rip and break the hair instead of actually griping and plucking. These tweezers are not like that at all. I can get my plucking done quick and without pain.

What I liked: 

As you can see, this product has many benefits. I really like the fact that it is made of organic and natural ingredients so it's very gentle on the skin which I noticed when I applied it. It has a slight flowery smell but it's very light and does not linger once applied. It would be a great product to wear alone or even underneath your makeup.

It goes on very smooth. It does not feel heavy or greasy. It left my skin feeling smooth and soft. I really like the design of the bottle too. In order to use the pump you have to twist the top to make the pump come out. I thought that was pretty neat.

Here is an awesome little gadget for the fella's. My husband was super excited when I received this item to review. This product was very simple to use and the display was easy to read. It's a great thing to have around when your wanting to get temperature readings from a distance like when working on car. 

I'm sure it can be used for a lot of things and with many different projects. 

This was the first time I had ever even seen a gadget like this. I thought it was pretty neat. I got temperature readings all over my house lol.

I also felt that this product was very good quality. It did not feel cheap or easily breakable. I really liked the material on the grip and how easily it fit in my hand.

My 5 year old son LOVES dinosaurs which is why I was so excited to have the opportunity to review this product. This Tyrannosaurus Rex Projecter by KidzLane is pretty cool!

It comes with 3 interchangeable discs each one with different dinosaurs on them, so 24 in all! They look realistic too and project over 3 feet. It also has 5 mighty roar sounds.

It has a built in trembler alert and motion sensor to detect movement. When movement is detected the dinosaur will roar which is pretty neat. 

This toy is well built. It didn't feel cheaply made at all. The roar sounds, sounded a bit fake to me though but my son didn't seem to notice. My son loved seeing all the different dinosaurs and the different sounds it made. Definitely the perfect toy for a boy.

I feel that this toy is both fun and educational. It can teach your child about all the different dinosaurs and what they look like.

This toy would make an awesome gift. I think any child boy or girl would love to play with this dinosaur and enjoy seeing the different projections.

Here is a microdermabrasion scrub that is not like any other scrub I've tried.

I really enjoy using facial scrubs because I feel that my skin really needs it. My skin on my face used to be so rough but once I discovered scrubs and how to exfoliate my face I no longer have rough skin.

This particular scrub is unique in that it is a microdermabrasion scrub and anti-aging product all rolled into one. It's also hypo-allergenic.
So not only do you get smooth skin but you also get to enjoy other benefits such as reduction in the appearance of wrinkles, reduction in sun damage and age spots as well as acne scars.

This microdermabrasion cream contains spa quality crystals that help buff away dead skin cells leaving you a more polished complexion.

This product is best used on damp skin so I apply it after my shower. I take a small amount onto my fingertips and massage it gently onto my skin. I do this for about a minute. I did notice a slight tingly/burning sensation when doing this. The scrub has an organic smell to it. It reminded me of cucumbers. The beads are very gentle on the skin and does not leave it feeling irritated.

Once I rinsed the product from my face I felt the difference in my skin right away. My skin felt moisturized and smooth. I followed up with the anti-aging moisturizer that came with it. It smelled like peppermint! I loved it.

All in all I would say that this is a pretty decent facial scrub. It did what it said it would do. It gave me smooth skin. I will definitely continue using this product because I love the way it makes my skin feel.

Dr. Song Professional Teeth Whitening Kit

I don't know about you but I have always wanted whiter teeth. My teeth have always seemed a bit dull. I've tried everything, from teeth whitening tooth paste to whitening strips and I've had no luck. It wasn't until recently that I got to try a teeth whitening kit for the first time, by Dr. Song. I was so excited about this because I wanted.....needed whiter teeth desperately and I felt like this was my last hope.

This whitening kit by Dr. Song comes with teeth whitening trays, 8 syringes of the whitening gel, a brush applicator and LED light. You can get over 50 applications with this kit. That is quiet a lot. I didn't believe it at first but after seeing how little gel I actually needed then I realized just how long this kit was going to last me.

I felt like this kit contained everything that you would need for a professional teeth whitening experience. The trays were easy to mold, the gel was easy to apply and the mold fit comfortably in my mouth as well as the LED light. What I did was brush on the gel on the front and backs of my teeth and then put in my mouth trays, followed by the LED light. I only used the light for the first 30 minutes and then left the trays in for another 30 minutes.

After just 1 hour my teeth were noticeably whiter. I was so excited and pleased with my results. I did notice that my gums were a bit sensitive after using this product. You have to be careful not to get the gel on your gums but getting a little bit on there is inevitable. You can't really avoid it. Your teeth may also get a bit sensitive after use. Mine did slightly. But you can purchase an additional product, Dr. Song's remineralization gel which helps reduce teeth sensitivity. It helps a lot!

I have to say I am truly impressed with this product. It gave me wonderful results. My whiter smile has made me so much more confident. I definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a brighter and more white smile.

I have to say I really like this product as well as all the others I have tried by Body Merry. I was really surprised at the size of the product. You get 3.4 fluid ounces of product which is quiet a bit.

I really like the fact that this product contains natural and organic ingredients such as aloe vera, sunflower oil, palm oil, jojoba oil and shea butter just to name a few. These ingredients are wonderful for the skin and will really help moisturize it.

Another thing I like about this product is that it is gentle. It doesn't contain a bunch of unknown chemicals which can be harsh on the skin. My skin can be a bit sensitive at times so I try to refrain from putting anything on my face that might irritate it. This product is very soothing. It goes on velvety smooth and melts into my skin leaving it plump and moisturized. It does not have a smell to it.

This is a great product to have and is a good one to add to your skin care regimen. I am still fairly young but it makes me feel good knowing that I am doing something good for my skin now so that I will hopefully maintain my youth for a bit longer.

Dr. Song 50% Lactic Acid Facial Peel

To be honest, I wasn't very familiar with chemical peels before trying this product. I did a bit of research before I used it because I did not want to risk damaging my skin. It turns out there are several different types of chemical peels each with it's own benefits.

You have the glycolic acid peel which is the most common and comes in different strengths and pH levels. It is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, improvement of skin texture and skin brightening.

There is also the salicylic acid peel which is a hydroxy acid that penetrates deeper into the oil glands causing exfoliation which makes it ideal for treating acne and oily skin.

The one I tried was the lactic acid peel (50% strength). The stronger the strength the deeper it penetrates the skin. Lactic acid occurs naturally in human skin and found in milk. It is less irritating than other AHA (alpha hydroxy acids) and has a natural moisturizing effect on the skin. It is ideal for skin brightening. It can be used to treat pigmentation, dry or dehydrated skin, sensitive skin or rosacea.

There are several other types of acids but I'm not going to explain them all. I want to focus on the lactic acid peel because that is the one I am most familiar with. I was very hesitant to try this chemical peel at first because I had never tried one before. The thought of burning the skin off my face was not very pleasant.

For a first time chemical peel user, it would have been wiser to start out with a lower strength peel. However, I felt confident that I knew what I was doing. I did a patch test on the skin just below my ear 24 hours before I actually did my entire face to see if my skin would react well to it. I had no problems.

What I did was apply the acid generously all over my face using a foundation brush avoiding sensitive areas such as around the eyes and mouth and nostrils. When I say generously I don't mean dripping. Just enough to cover my entire face. Once application was complete I started the stopwatch on my phone and let the acid sit on my face for one minute. The entire time my face started to tingle and itch. This is to be expected. It is acid after all. Reaching the one minute mark it almost became unbearable. It wasn't painful just not very comfortable.

I quickly rinsed it off my face thoroughly and then patted my face dry. I then took a cotton ball and applied a toner all over my face to neutralize the acid. My face was a bit red and blotchy in places. I did have some active acne on my face which was left further irritated but it really helped them dry up quickly.

Acid peels take a while to actually see true results but I did notice a reduction in my pore size after my first application. I am eager to start seeing real results in a few weeks. I am going to try and do a peel once every 3 weeks. The peel was not really that bad. Not like I expected at all. I expected to see my skin fall off into the sink but it's nothing like that at all.

I highly recommend this product but I would suggest doing a bit of research before making a purchase to see which type of peel would work best for your skin and start out with a lower strength peel to see how your skin will react.

I have high hopes for this product. I am confident that my skin will look better than ever in a few weeks. I will come back to update once I can actually see a difference.

With the cool weather, my skin tends to get a bit dry and flaky. This serum really gives my skin the moisture it needs to stay healthy looking. It really is a great addition to my skincare routine.

Old Factory Candle Gift Set Review + Giveaway

I am really excited about this product because I LOVE burning candles, especially during the cooler months.

There is just something about burning candles that gives me a sense of calm. I especially like burning candles with scents to match the seasons which is why I chose this particular theme, "winter wonderland". It came with 3 different scents: Hot Cocoa, Roasted Chestnut and First Snow.


These candles by Old Factory are made of natural soy wax and hand poured. Each candle burns for 20 hours. I was really impressed with the quality of the scents. My favorite was the Hot Cocoa. I love anything chocolate. When I burned this scent, it filled my whole apartment with the sweetest aroma. It only took a couple minutes for me to start smelling it and after I blew it out the smell lingered for hours.

The only problem that I had was that the wick in one of the candles was up next to the glass and after it had been burning for a couple hours, the glass cracked. So I would be careful with how long you burn the candles, especially if the wick is not centered.

 If you travel frequently you might want to check out these packing cubes by Dot & Dot. They come in several different sizes and colors. This particular one is the slim packing cube which is great for small items such as toiletries or medications. It measures 11" x 6.75" x 3". It looks small but it can hold so much!

I'm actually traveling today so I'm putting these little things to good use. I used one to put all my makeup and tools in and another for all my hair stuff such as my straightener, hair brush, hair spray and serums. I also used one for my baby's things like his toys and medicines.

As you have probably seen from all my prior posts that I try a lot of hyaluronic acid products. Here's another one! I was eager to try this one because it was unique in that it had added oxygen. I thought that was interesting and figured I would give it a try.

This particular product contains a high concentration of the best quality Swiss hyaluronic acid available according to the product details. It also mentions that oxygen has regenerative properties which accelerate the skin's repair process and promote cellular renewal as well as delivering abundant moisture to the skin.

This product claims to diminish wrinkles, fine lines, and the signs of aging while preserving the skin's elasticity, suppleness and youthful tone.

Although it's a wonderful product, you really don't get a lot of it. It comes in a very small .5 oz dropper bottle which is really not going to last you a very long time especially if you use it twice daily as recommended. I'm not really sure what the oxygen does for my skin. I don't really see or feel any difference aside from the benefits of the hyaluronic acid. It does make my skin feel smooth and soft so I do like that. It also has no scent to it. It's very gentle and absorbs very quickly and nicely into the skin. It does not leave your skin feeling heavy. It goes on light, leaving your skin feeling moisturized.
