You have probably seen one of these before. They seem to be the new craze these days when it comes to foundation application.

It is a foundation blending sponge that when used helps give your foundation a more flawless appearance and reduce streaks.

It apparently works with liquid or powder foundations.






When I apply my foundation I always use a foundation brush but as you may or may not know that method tends to leave streaks at times. What I like about the blending sponge is that it helps blend everything out eliminating streaks and resulting in a more smooth foundation look.

You don't have to give up your brush entirely. Use your brush like you normally would and then go over it with the sponge to help smooth everything out and remove any excess makeup that might be accumulating in places.

I was very pleased with this sponge especially with not knowing what to expect since it was my first time using one. I got my sponge a little damp before using which is what they say to do. I felt that this thinned out my liquid foundation some making the coverage not as thick. You can adjust that depending on how damp you get the blender sponge.

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this sponge. It worked great for me and I loved how much more smooth my skin appeared. Usually when I wear liquid foundation my skin looks horrible like the makeup just clings to every imperfection as well as making my large pores that much more noticeable. But after using the blender sponge everything seems so much more smooth.
