I got to try out this finger pulse oximeter recently and I have to say I'm pretty pleased and impressed with it.

I really like that it came with it's own little case to put it in when traveling. It even comes with a strap that you can hook to it so that you can carry around your neck or wrist. 

After I had my second child I had to have nurses come to my house everyday because I had complications with my c-section and they would check my vitals. They used one of these pulse oximeters on me. If your in that line of work this would be great to have especially if you are the kind of nurse that makes house calls and travels a lot.

Ocean Mineral Facial Cleanser by Oz Naturals

I got the opportunity to try this Ocean Mineral facial cleanser by Oz Naturals recently. I wanted to try it because I needed a cleanser that was less harsh than some others I've tried. My skin can be sensitive at times and dry out.

What I particularly like about this cleanser is that it is made up of organic and natural ingredients. It also has rose hip oil, vitamin e and borage oil. It is also rich in ocean minerals that are beneficial to the skin. This cleanser is gentle enough for sensitive skin yet powerful enough to remove all the dirt and grime from your skin.

This cleanser does lather. I like to point that out because I have been fooled before when trying other natural cleansers that didn't lather at all. Be careful to not get it into your eyes because it will burn. I found out the hard way!





I love using natural beauty products and this one is definitely one I will be continuously using. It has worked great for my skin and I feel it is very effective. If you suffer from dry cracked feet you might want to check this product out.

It is a battery operated foot callus remover that is portable, easy and safe. The device can be used wet or dry.

I was super eager to try this product out because I'm not going to lie, my feet are BAD! I wear flip flops year round so my feet are constantly exposed to the


elements and of course I don't take care of them like I should. After running after two little boys all day I just don't have the time or energy to really give my feet the attention they need.

In the past I have used pumice stones, foot scrubbers and scrapers. They are successful to a certain extent but they are a pain to use.

What I like about this electronic callus remover is that it pretty much does the work for you. It's comfortable to hold and easy to use.
If your feet are as bad as mine I suggest soaking your feet for at least 30 minutes before using this. My feet are pretty much to the point of no return but this callus remover did do well at helping smooth the calluses down a bit. It was time consuming not going to lie. It wasn't perfect but it did help some. I think if your calluses are more mild then this would be the perfect tool for you.

If you follow my blog then you must know how much I love my serums like this Vitamin C Serum by Havens Arc.

Up until about a year ago I never used serums like these on my skin. I never really knew they existed. I am so glad that I found them because they have worked wonders on my skin.

I love this Vitamin C serum because it contains mostly natural and organic ingredients that are so great for the skin such as Organic Rosehip Oil, Organic Sea Buckthorn Oil, Green Tea Extract, Botanical Hyaluronic Acid, and Resistem (Plant Stem Cells). I got the opportunity to try this product recently. It's a thermal activated hair conditioner that is supposed to penetrate and soothe hair follicles to help smooth your hair.

It contains moisture infusion microbeads that when heat is applied, it's supposed to dissolve and nourish the hair. According to the product details it's supposed to help do the following:

• Revive dry, damaged hair
• Lock moisture into hair
• Protect against humidity
• Heal and restore hair shaft
• Add body, life and shine

I like the idea of this product because my hair does show signs of damage. My hair is always dry and brittle with spit ends. I was hoping that this product would really make a difference in the way my hair looks and feels but I honestly could not tell a difference. The product actually made my hair feel like it had a waxy residue in it, almost the way it feels when I don't get all my conditioner out when I shower. I also didn't notice a difference in shine or softness. I did like the smell of the product though.

I really wanted this product to work for me but it just didn't. I have very thick, course hair so I don't know if it matters what type of hair you have. It may work better for different hair types.

I got the opportunity to try this retinol moisturizer recently.

It is an anti-aging cream that helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines making your skin appear softer and smoother.

It has many great ingredients in it like Aloe Vera, Jojoba Oil, Rose Water And Sunflower Oil which help alleviate a variety of skin conditions. It also contains vitamins A, C, B5 And E.

To be honest, this wasn't my most favorite facial product. I like all the ingredients in it but I didn't really like the way it applied on my skin.


 

It felt kind of heavy and slightly greasy. However, it did absorb quickly so that feeling was only temporary. It didn't have much of a smell to it which is good. It was gentle on the skin and my skin did feel nice once everything settled and absorbed. 

I haven't really noticed much of a difference in the appearance of my fine lines. When I first apply it the appearance is diminished somewhat probably due to plumpness from the added moisture. 

Overall, it's an okay product for a moisturizer if you have drier skin.

 I got this beard care kit for my husband to try. The products were a lot smaller than I expected them to be but it comes in a pretty nice little package. The kit comes with Temperance Scent Beard Oil Flask, a can of Primary Moustache Wax and a custom wax lifter (guitar pick).

My husband tried this out and he didn't really care for it all that much. He said the beard oil made his beard feel crunchy. On a plus side though the product did not have a smell. My husband has bad allergies and products with strong scents makes him hack and cough. 

The mustache wax was nice though. He always has these stray hairs that like to go every which way. The wax helps everything stay in one place.




I think it's really neat that it comes with a guitar pick for the wax. Overall, I think it's a nice kit. It would be perfect for a gift.

Crystal Wash review

If you have not heard of Crystal Wash before I urge you to check it out. It is pretty neat. This is by far one of the coolest products I've tested out so far. When it comes to cleaning I'm always looking for more effective or less costly methods. I really think I hit the jackpot as far as my laundry goes.

The crystal wash balls use Bio Ceramics which were developed using various minerals from the earth to get your laundry clean naturally. According to the website "as Crystal Wash moves around in your laundry machine during a cycle, it changes the chemistry and raises the pH balance of the water. The higher Alkaline water created by Crystal Wash enables dirts and soils to be soaked free naturally. This process creates a natural Hydrogen Peroxide which disinfects your clothes…killing bacteria and odors."

Is that neat or what? No more using harsh chemicals that can be bad for your skin or spending hundreds of dollars a year on laundry detergents. Crystal Wash is good for up to 1000 uses. Depending on how many loads you do and how often, Crystal Wash can last you a good while. For me, I probably do two loads a week. That includes mine and my husbands clothes as well as hour two boys. According to my calculations, Crystal Wash will last me up to 9 years! The only thing you have to do is charge it monthly by sitting them out in the sun!

I am so very excited about this product but the question that might be on your mind is, does it work? In my opinion, yes it does. My clothes came out smelling fresh without using any chemicals. I was pretty amazed. If you would like to have more of a scent to your clothes you can add in scent boosters. I've done that a few times. One thing though is you might want to use a good stain remover for more stubborn stains because those may not come out all the way. This doesn't bother me too bad because I have to do that anyways when I use my regular detergent. Some stains just don't want to come out. It's inevitable.

Overall, I'm really impressed with this product. I'm excited because it's a new fun way to wash your laundry, it's effective and I'll be saving ton's of money. You can't beat that!

I tried out this silicone baking mat by BakeItFun and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed.

Every time that I make cookies no matter how much I spray the pan with non-stick spray I still end up having to scrape baked on cookie off my pans. It usually ends up with me giving up and just letting it soak overnight.

Not anymore!






This baking mat is reinforced with fiberglass mesh and covered by premium food grade silicone which allows for better heat distribution while cooking. It can resist temperatures from  -40°F (-40°C) to 450°F (230°C). 


The baking mat also features circles and measurements on the side which really help during baking. I like the circles the most because when I'm making cookies or biscuits I never know how much or how far apart to make the dough balls. 

I made some M&M cookies using this mat and I couldn't believe it when the cookies just lifted right off the mat. I didn't even have to scrape it. AMAZING!

I am really impressed with this baking mat. It's going to get so much use because I do a lot of baking and I'm tired of scraping pans and having my food stick.

This shower head is very high quality in my opinion. It is made well and looks very nice. It came with everything needed to install and it only took just a few minutes. Super easy! The LED light feature was my favorite part. I love that each color setting indicates the water temperature. The blue means cool (under 95F), green is warm ( 95-108F) red is hot (109-122F) and flashing red is warning hot (over 122F). This feature is especially useful if you have kids.

I have been enjoying this shower head for several weeks now. I have had no problems with it so far. It does everything it's supposed to do. I love how nice it looks in my shower!
