I love my face serums. I have so many different ones from hyaluronic acid to Vitamin C. I love applying them to my skin. I feel that each one has it's own unique benefit.

This one in particular by CSCS contains 20% Vitamin C + E and Ferulic Acid. These ingredients help combat the signs of aging and also help with sun damaged skin.

My most major concern is aging. I have begun to notice a few fine lines here and there so I really want to tackle those first and foremost.


I really like serums like this because it helps moisturize the skin which is a huge when dealing with fine lines and wrinkles. When your skin is hydrated, it appears plump and fills in those fine lines. I notice when I first wake up in the morning is when I really notice my fine lines but once I apply this serum my skin plumps back up and you can't even hardly see the lines anymore.

This serum is a great thing to use at night or in the morning. You can use it underneath your moisturizer. It is very light and has no smell to it. It's gentle and feel so nice on the skin. It absorbs very quickly too. The serum is very thin and watery in consistency, but you can really tell the difference in the look and feel of your skin after applying it. My skin felt so soft and smooth.

WhiteDerm Resurface Enzyme Fading Mask

I love face masks! I used to do them a lot more when I was a teenager. It seemed to be the "thing" at that time especially the ones that peel. As I got older, I stopped doing them so much.

I decided to give this one a try. It's an enzyme fading mask by Mediderm. You can peel it or wash it off. I like to peel it because I feel like it helps pull all that gunk out of your pores as well as lift away any dead skin that you have.

I am very impressed with this facial mask. The overall experience was really nice. What I did was steam my face for about 10 minutes. This helps open up the pores. I figured it would help pull my blackheads out a lot better. After steaming my face, I dried it and then applied the mask. It is clear and very very thick! It feels like your putting honey or glue on your face. I put just a nice thin layer over my problems areas mostly which are my forehead, nose and chin. Avoid getting it near your eyes and of course your hair. It took probably 15-20 minutes to completely dry and then I started peeling from my forehead down.

The peeling process is the best part. I feel like I'm peeling my old skin to reveal new fresh skin underneath. (I'm weird lol) It definietly helped my skin look more fresh and less dull. It also made it really smooth! It did help some with the blackheads but not as much as I had hoped. Blackheads are so stubborn! But still yet, I'm really pleased with the results I got. I will definitely be using this again.

Keeva Tea Tree Oil Acne Treatment Cream

If you suffer from acne and blemishes your going to want to check this product out. It is tea tree oil acne treatment cream by Keeva.

I have been using this product for a few weeks now and I am really surprised with the results I have gotten. I don't really get a lot of acne, just maybe a mild break out once a month. But one thing I do suffer from is oily skin, large pores and black heads.

This cream is highly effective at least for me with keeping my pores cleared out making them appear smaller. I've also noticed less oil since using it. The cream is thick and a little goes a long way when applying it. You can use it for just a spot treatment or use it all over your face at least that's what I've been doing. Depends on what works for you. I will say the cream does have a bit of a smell, kind of like menthol or icy hot. It makes your skin tingle and eyes burn a bit but not too terribly bad. The cooling sensation on the face actually feels nice. However, if you decide to apply it before your makeup, just be sure to wait a few minutes because the cream kind of makes your sweat. But once it's absorbed, everything is back to normal.

I used this product every day for about a two weeks and I noticed a huge difference in the look and feel of my skin. I noticed less black heads and pimples and my face felt really smooth.

Once I got out of the habit of using it, my face went back to being nasty. Oily, pores full of black heads. So I can definitely say that this product made a huge difference for me. I love it!

Beautiful Hand Painted Wine Glasses by Valentina Paris

Being an occasional wine drinker, I was excited to have the opportunity to try out this hand painted wine glass set by Valentina Paris. For the longest I never had a proper wine glass. I would always just use a any old glass I had in my cupboard. But having a beautiful wine glass really ups the experience.

I was taken a back at first when I opened up my package. These wine glasses are HUGE. I honestly had never seen any that big before. But they are absolutley beautiful. Each wine glass is designed in Paris and each one is mouth blown and hand painted. Each glass is unique in design.

When my package arrived, one of the glasses was broke. I messaged the company and they were super nice about it and has guaranteed me a new set once they get a new shipment in. I love a company that is willing to work with you to make sure your happy!



The only problem I had with these wine glasses is that since they are so big they wouldn't fit in any of my cabinets. I would have to buy me a wine glass rack that would hook up underneath the cabinet. That was the only drawback but easy to fix.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with this wine glass set. I love the design and the shape. They are beautiful.

Vitamin C+E Serum by Complete Skin Solutions

I have reviewed quite a few different Vitamin C serums over the past year or so. Most I've loved, however sometimes you come across one that is just not your favorite. I have to say, this is one of them.

Although this product contains many wonderful ingredients that are so great for your skin, how it sits on the skin is a big deal in my opinion.

This serum was sticky and slightly oily. The sticky feeling lingers on the hands after application as well as on the face.


I thought that after sitting on the skin it would absorb but the sticky feeling was still there. I did not like that at all! I want to be able to apply a serum and go on about my day with no worries. It's kind of hard to do that when your eye lid is sticking and catching when you blink. Not a comfortable feeling at all.

It claims to do so much for your skin and I'm sure it would if you could stand to use it consistently. But everyone is different. Even though I did not care for this particular serum due to how it applies to the skin doesn't mean someone else might find it lovely.

Brillante Manual Coffee Grinder

I recently had the opportunity to test out this manual coffee grinder by Brillante. I have to say I am impressed.

My first thought before trying this was that I wasn't going to like it as much as my electric coffee grinder. I thought it would be more difficult and a pain to grind by hand.

I was wrong! I actually enjoyed using this product. It was simple to assemble and easy to grind. It does come with a few detachable parts that you have to clean after use but other than that it's a breeze. My electric coffee grinder is actually harder to clean because it doesn't come apart like this one.



You can adjust the components in this grinder to accommodate brewing needs like for espresso, pour over, french press/plunger, percolator or Turkish. 

The grinder is small and compact which makes it easy to store in a drawer. I like that it has the little clear window at the bottom so you can see how much coffee you have ground. 

All in all, I'm highly impressed and happy with this product. It's perfect for grinding coffee but can also be used for grinding spices.
