Best Nut Milk Bag Review + Giveaway

#VitaNutMilkBag
I have to admit, when I first heard the terms nut milk bag, I did not know what to think. I had no clue as to what it was but I am glad that I did a bit of research because it turns out, I have been needing it all along. A nut milk bag is.... well a bag. This one in particular is an 12" x 10" mesh bag. You can do so many things with it such as juicing, cold brew coffee and making almond milk. Since it's so ultra fine you don't have to worry about any pulp or coffee grounds. It's also reusable.

I was mainly interested in this bag because I am an iced coffee addict! I needed an easier and less messy way to strain my coffee grounds. Before using this product, I was using a coffee filter for each glass I made which was not only messy and time consuming but wasteful!

With this bag, I put 1 cup of coffee grounds inside, then I fill a pitcher with 5 to 6 cups of water depending on how potent I want my coffee. Then I just set the bag down in the water and let it sit in the fridge over night. When it's ready, I just take the bag out, and I have a pitcher full of coffee without all the grounds. Every time I want to make a glass of iced coffee, I just pour in the desired amount and I don't have to worry about filtering or having coffee grounds in my coffee. It has truly simplified my life. I'm actually wondering where it has been all this time.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone who does juicing or makes their own iced coffee. There is so much more you can do with this product besides the ones I mentioned. This product actually comes with a free recipe E-book that contains recipes in which you can use the nut milk bag.

If you are interested in learning more about it you can visit the company's website here. If you are interested  in purchasing it you can do so here. This product is currently available on Amazon for $11.95.

Austrailian Tea Tree Oil

#teatreeoil
Here is another product that I just love! Tea tree oil is an essential oil that has so many uses. This product naturally fights acne, toenail fungus, lice, yeast infections, skin tags, cold sores, dandruff, ringworm, fleas, warts and psoriasis. You can also use this oil to make all natural household cleaners, detergents, shower sprays, bathroom disinfectants, and kitchen sprays.

It's amazing all the different ways you can use this product. This Austrailian tea tree oil comes in a 4 fluid ounce bottle which is a pretty good amount. When you purchase this product it also comes with a free recipe guide that you can download onto your computer or tablet. The recipe guide shows 53 way's in which you can use this product. It's pretty neat the things you can do with it.

So far I have used this product to put on my son's bug bites and boo boo's. It really helps to ease the itching and it's a good microbial and antiseptic.

Neutrogena Beach and Beauty Party

I recently had the opportunity to host a Neutrogena Beach and Beauty Party through Crowdtap. If your not familiar with Crowdtap, I encourage you to check it out. You can connect with the brands that you love, share content about them and earn entries into monthly drawings where you can win gift cards. Not only that, but you can be invited to host a party for different brands, such as Neutrogena, the one I did. What they do is, send you numerous sample products to try out and all you do is get a few of your friends together to try them all out, all the while taking notes about what you liked and what you didn't like about each product.

I think this is a great way to get to know the brand and it's products as well as get different perspectives about what works and what doesn't.

Here is what what included in my party kit:

#NeutrogenaAdvocate
  • Neutrogena sunscreen sample
  • MoistureShine Lip Soother in shade Glimmer
  • Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer
  • Hydrating Make-Up Remover Cleansing Towelettes
  • Triple Repair Hair Care
  • 1 Neutrogena party item
  • 1 Party insert

Note: If your wondering what the "party item" was, it was a Frisbee. It is not shown in the picture because my son claimed that for himself the first day I opened the package lol.

Since the party kit included the Make-Up remover cleansing towelettes, I figured what better way to try those out, than to let our husbands do our make-up for us! I thought this would be a fun way to try the wipes. Surprisingly our husbands did pretty good.
I wish I would have taken more pics during the process of them putting makeup on us but I was having too much fun I completely forgot to.

Ok now on to the good stuff. What we thought about the products!

  1. Neutrogena Sunscreen- We couldn't really go outside and test this product because our party happened to be on a rainy day but, we did apply it to the top of our hands and were very surprised! The sunscreen had the most amazing scent! All the sunscreens I have used in the past all pretty much had the same smell, but this one was different. We also noticed that it was not greasy at all! It left our skin feeling so soft and smooth. My friend actually commented that she wanted to just put it all over her like a regular body lotion, it was that good! This was our favorite product in the whole kit!
  2. MoistureShine Lip Soother- We also liked this product as well. It had a good scent to it, and it left our lips feeling super soft and smooth. We also noticed it made our lips feel cool and tingly. This is a great product for wearing outside because it has sunscreen, with an SPF of 20. With the SPF and the cooling effect that you get when applied, makes this the perfect lip product for those dry summer days.
  3. Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer- This had to me my least favorite product. I really wanted to like this product but I just didn't. It wasn't for me. For me, the product left my skin feeling super oily and shiny. My skin can be a bit on the oily side, so the added oil did not sit to well on my skin. But my friend, whose skin tends to be a bit dry, felt that this product absorbed better into her skin. Her skin seemed to soak it up while it just sat on the surface of mine. So I've concluded that this product would work better for those with dry skin and not so much with those who's skin tends to be a bit oily.
  4. Hydrating Make-Up Remover Cleansing Towelettes- I usually don't use cleansing towelettes to remove my makeup which is why I was so eager to try these. My friend used one first to remove her makeup and the first thing she noticed is that the wipe was not moist enough and it burned her eyes. When I used it, I felt that it was moist enough for my needs but it did burn my skin a little bit. The smell of the wipe wasn't the most pleasant. My friends husband described it as smelling like a dirty dish rag. I can't say I disagree on that one. I wish it would have been more gentle but it was effective at removing my make-up.
  5. Triple Repair Hair Care- I was super eager to try this product because it's supposed to mend split ends and strengthen brittle hair and that is something my hair needs so bad! However, I was so disappointed. My hair felt just as dry and brittle if not worse after using this product. I thought for sure my hair would come out silky smooth but it didn't at all.
Overall, I really enjoyed hosting this party. I loved being able to try out products for free courtesy of #crowdtap and sharing with others my thoughts and opinions about them. I hope you enjoyed my reviews and found them helpful. Thanks for reading!

Azure Naturals ULTIMATE RETINOL Anti Wrinkle Serum + Giveaway

#azurenaturals
My momma always told me that retinol was good for wrinkles. I've never really used it until recently when I got the opportunity to try Azure Naturals ULTIMATE RETINOL Anti Wrinkle Serum. I have fallen in love with Azure Naturals and their products. I have tried other products of theirs and they are amazing.

This product contains Vitamin A which is proven to improve pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, skin texture, skin tone, color, as well as increase your skins hydration levels.

Just like the other Azure Naturals products, this goes on very smooth and light and is not sticky at all. It leaves my skin feeling super soft and moisturized. It also has virtually no scent which is always a plus especially in a facial product. It is very gentle and does not irritate my skin. I use this product mainly at night, and let the retinol do it's thing. I don't really have any visible wrinkles or fine lines yet but I feel good knowing that I am one step ahead and combating the issue early on.

I highly recommend this for those who are looking for a good quality skin care product that will improve the way your skin looks and feels. If you would like to learn more about this product or the various others you can visit the company's website here.

You can also connect with this company on Facebook.

This product is also available on Amazon. It currently sells for $21.95.

Magnetic Screen Door by iGotTech

I have tried screen doors like this one before only to be disappointed when the mesh tore like paper before I could even get it put up and come to find out it didn't have the magnets, only little weights to help it go back together.

This one was so much different. I could tell right away that the material was so much better quality. I even took it between my fingers and gave it a tug to see if it would give but it didn't. The material is strong and durable.

There was also a video posted online that showed step by step how to set it up, and it made it so much easier. The instructions were very easy to follow. It came with a roll of Velcro which was just enough for the entire screen with just about 2-3 inches left over. It also came with tacks to help fasten it to your door frame.

These screens really come in handy in the summer or cooler months when you want to open your door instead of using your air conditioner or if you just want some fresh air moving through your house. You don't have to worry about letting bugs in or running up your electricity bill.

This product really is a great thing to have. Sometimes when I cook, things get a bit smokey and the alarms start going off and I have to rush to open the door and start fanning it all out. With this screen door I can just leave my door open from the start and continuously let it air out without having to worry about flies getting in. Flies are the worst. It seems like if I open my door for a split second, I have 2 or 3 flies buzzing around and then I have to chase after them with a fly swatter.

I was very impressed with this product, especially the quality of it. I definitely recommend this everyone.

Note: Be sure to measure your door frame before buying to ensure that this product will work for you. If your door frame is 34 inches wide or less this product should work perfect for you!

If you would like to learn more about this product or purchase it, you can do so here. It is currently available on Amazon for $24.95 +shipping.

Where is my home? Childrens ebook review.

I recently got the opportunity to try out this children's ebook #promotion. I've never reviewed a book before but I am glad I started with this one. I wanted to try this ebook for my 5 year old son. He loves for me to read books to him.

I thought this short little story was so cute and engaging! It flowed very nicely and easily. I really enjoyed this story probably as much as my son. My son has a hard time paying attention when I read him books but he was glued to this one. He loved hearing what would happen next and wondering if Terry would find his way home. He also thought it was funny when he would try the different foods from the animals he came a cross.

He also loved seeing the pictures. (It came with 18 illustrations) They really depicted the story well and were very colorful and vivid. This book is part of the Terry Treetop series which is an action and adventure series for ages 2-6. I am excited to see what the other books are about. I'm sure my son will love them and I think I will too.

If you would like to experience this book with your children it is available on Amazon here. You can purchase it for your Kindle device for $1.00 or Paperback for $9.32.

Beauty by Shea Raw Organic Unfiltered Shea Butter Review + Giveaway

I have never tried raw Shea butter before so I was very eager to see what it's all about. This one in particular from #BeautyByShea comes in a 1lb brick. That is quiet a bit of Shea butter. It is 100% pure and natural and has nothing else added to it.

What I like about this product is that it contains essential vitamins such as vitamins A, E, F and K which is really great for the skin.

This product also has so many uses. I mean you can use it as a body butter but it can also be an ingredient in home made lotions, soaps and even conditioner for your hair.

I plan to find some recipes and make my own lotions and maybe a conditioner. I've never tried Shea butter on my hair before but I am eager to see what it could do for it.

The only thing I didn't particularly like was the smell but you can add some essential oils to it, especially when making soaps and lotions. It is also very greasy feeling but I rubbed some on my hands and it made them really soft. You could probably rub this stuff on your feet at night and then cover them with socks and wake up to super soft feet. I might have to try that!

If you are interested in learning more about this product, you can visit BeautyByShea on their website here. It is also available on Amazon here. It currently sells for $11.00 which is an amazing deal for 1lb of it.
